Fellowship Highlights:
Indian Institute of Geomagnetism offers this research fellowship to the aspirants of doctoral program in Physics and in Geophysics / Earth Sciences.
This fellowship is tenable at the University of Mumbai, or alternatively, at the Kolhapur or Pune Universities.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have Physics as one of the subjects at the B.Sc. level and scored at least 55 percent in their M.Sc. degree in Physics or Mathematics for the Physics stream in any of the subjects for the Earth Science field: Geology, Physics, or Geophysics.
Successful participants of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or the Joint CSIR UGC – JRF (NET) examination in Subject Code-2 (Planetary, Atmospheric, Earth, and Ocean Sciences) and Subject Code-5 (Physics Sciences) are also eligible to apply for this research fellowship.
