To be a legal advisor, you need to earn a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Law. Work experience under a legal expert or in a law firm is always helpful. You need to excel in verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills as well as be patient, tactful, self-confident, reliable, and confidant. You should also possess a good sense of judgment and team member skills.
Under a broad spectrum of responsibilities, your job profile may also include providing professional assistance and advice to the Head of Legal Service as per the requirements; administering, researching, and examining law implications on the matters that affect the company as well as reporting about them to the Head. You are also required to manage both internal and external legal resources.
